(July 3, 1948 – October 3, 2024)
Beverly Edwards was born in Lacombe, Alberta, on July 3, 1948.
She spent her early childhood in Wetaskiwin before her family relocated to Chilliwack, British Columbia, in 1956, where she completed her schooling and planted deep roots in the community.
Beverly passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, after a courageous five-year battle with dementia, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit.
A longtime resident of Chilliwack, Beverly was well-known and loved by many. As a lab technician, she earned the trust and affection of the community with her friendly and caring nature, helping countless people during her career.
Outside of work, she found joy in her garden, tap dancing with the Happy Tappers, and hosting gatherings with family and friends. Her infectious laughter and warm hospitality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Beverly is survived by her son, Stephen, and his wife, Elise, as well as her brother, Wayne, and a circle of cherished friends. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to others will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and community.
Beverly’s service will be held on November 17th at the Chilliwack Curling Club from 1pm to 4pm.

I knew Bev for many years. Not only our friendship but our business relationship. I will miss her. She was an amazing lady. Her last years were with Stephen and his wife and they took amazing care of her. I know the Stephen, Elise and her brother Wayne will miss her.
She will travel to heaven wrapped in the wings of angels. She was an amazing friend and confidant. We enjoyed our girls camping weeks for many years.
Sadly missed and forever in my heart.
I’ve known Bev since high school. Her and I worked together at the medical Depot at base for a few years and we used to go down to the Maple leaf in Sumas on Friday night and party. She was a wonderful person. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
Bev was a wonderful person as a friend and lab colleague . We shared years splitting shifts so we could look after our families better. She loved to laugh ,drink red wine and dance. She will be sorely missed by all of us that loved her.
Bev and I met in grade 2 and remained wonderful friends through the years. She is a much cherished ‘Golden Girl’ and will be truly missed. Congratulations on your graduation to heaven, dear Bev. A beautiful life… celebrated, remembered, honored now and always. ♥️

Will always remember when I first met Bev doing my practicum years ago at the Lab , her sweet and caring spirit ,she took me under her wing and made me feel heard and accepted. Always enjoyed seeing Bevs smile while arriving at work. Prayers to her Family ♥️🙏🏻
Only knowing Bev from High School years, I remember her as being kind at a time when being popular, didn’t always translate. She smiled a lot and seemed genuinely a gentle spirit.
She has surely left her mark on so many people, a great legacy!
Bev was a beautiful person who had such a sincere personality and kind and loving spirit. I was her SIL and I lived in Ont so didn’t get to see her often enough. I’m so glad and grateful we got to visit her and Stephen and Elise in May of this year. We will miss her always, hope to see you again one day Bev. Love fr Marilyn & Scott. 💖
Bev & I were cousins. As teenagers she would come to Alberta & we would spend the summer together and my family would go & visit her & family every few years. We really enjoyed each other’s company & I will miss her bubbly personality. She was such a dear & wonderful person. I believe she is with the angles now
I remember the beautiful person she was. She was a wonderful sister in-law. My condolences to Steven and family.
I remember meeting Bev in Sardis Junior, having many classes together over the years. High school reunions Bev was quite involved the few years with Maggie, Wanda and Bev such great greeters and I’m sure they were into the planning as well. Bev always had the biggest smile making everyone feel so welcome. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace. . . .
I am so very sad about loosing such a lovely caring cousin she will be missed not just by Wayne but all of her cousins there as well as all of us in Alberta. I know that she will be with all her loved ones how wonderful that she will be finally at peace
We hadn’t seen Bev for a number of years. We met throught the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. She was always so friendly when we saw her, a wonderful lady. Our condolences to the family
